A variety of stress management techniques are available that involve learning how to consciously relax and control your body in responses to stress and anxiety. These include meditation or guided imagery. As with any new skill you are trying to learn, daily practice is important to acquiring mastery of these techniques.  By consistently practicing mindfulness, relaxation, meditation or guided imagery, we develop mental equilibrium and create an inner space and clarity that enables us to regulate our mind regardless of the external circumstances.
