I recognize that starting and committing to therapy can be quite difficult and, often, anxiety provoking. To alleviate stress, I provide free consultations on a phone or in person in the non-judgmental, informal, grounded, and optimistic environment.  We can talk about your needs, problems, circumstances and experiences, and I am more than happy to answer any question related to your treatment, my approach, expertise, or experience.

I have extensive knowledge, training, and experience treating adults and adolescents straggling with anxiety, depression, social anxiety, ADHD, HFAS (former Asperger's).  I also specialize in developmental  and other types of trauma: related to abuse, neglect, losses, combat, DV, etc.. In my practice I work with interpersonal, relational, intimate, and sexual difficulties, social and identity issues, personality disorders, addictions, and chronic mental illness. I frequently work with families guiding and supporting them through crisis, conflict, and difficult transitions addressing systemic and attachment deficits, improving attunement, communication, and providing parental guidance.

My clients have been diverse ethnically, culturally, in terms of gender, age, clinical issues, and social background.  I am able to build a strong therapeutic relationship with individuals, who had prior negative experiences in therapy. I often work with LGBTQ+ and gender fluid, non-binary clients.

In my practice I create a safe space and provide compassionate and empathetic support, validation, encouragement, and guidance. I will tailor your treatment to your individual's needs, strengths, unique experiences, talents, and character traits. I believe in treating the whole person: understanding, processing, and rewiring connections between body and mind  to archive balance, harmony, and inner peace. My style integrates humanistic and holistic prospective with attachment based trauma informed approachs, while incorporating psychodynamic, cognitive and dialectical -behavioral, mindfulness, meditation, and expressive /art techniques and more.
